This is the ToAd's big catalog-o-stuff. It contains everything - almost - it holds from view items which are marked as incomplete, do not belong to the current game world, or are not up to the current rules setting.
Basically you click on the links to the left. This brings up a list of items in this space. Clicking on a link will take you to its display page. Every display page has a button bar in its upper right hand corner which provides valuable services such as....
Comments: This button links to a page where people can read and leave comments about a particular item.
Print: For characters, this button provides a number of different character sheets the character can be poured into. For everything else, this button simply breaks the record out of its framework for easy printing. This button is offered to everyone.
Edit: This button loads an item into its appropriate editor. Only the creator of the item (and in rare cases the designers of the site) will be able to edit an item.
Delete: this button only appears to the creator of the item (and the designers of the site). Clicking it trashes an item after a safety prompt.
Get Approval: if you want the creators of the ToAd to take a look at your work, click on this and it will flag them to check it out and possibly hit it with our stamp of approval.
If you are ever at a loss for what something means, like Lgaite, run your mouse over it. There is a very good chance the word is hiding a link to a page in our help section which explains the term. If you haven't noticed already, links are so prevalent on the site they had to be hidden by default. Unless the link is meant to be obvious (like those in the character sheet creator) it will flash italics when you mouse over it.
About Adventures. Adventures are made using resources dragged in from the ToAd's system of databases. Outputting them to your screen puts a tremendous strain on our server. Because of this only Directors are allowed to view them and no more than 40 times a day (even their own adventures). So keep away from that refresh button!
