Character Creation
First, check out the Character Creator's Welcome page. It begins with some vital info on how to create characters. Otherwise, here are the eight overview pages which accompany each step.
Printing a Character Sheet: This shouldn't be as big a mystery as everyone makes it out to be. The long scrolling read-out of a character which usually comes up when you click on a character is not our idea of a character sheet. If you click this little button in the upper left hand corner of the character read-out you should get a pop-up window containing a number of character sheet options (The Adventurer. The Pro From Dover. The Cannonfodder. Etc....)
Clicking on one of these will generate the character sheet in a new window. This doesn't just pour the character's data into a form, but it also grabs any supporting material from the other databases that the character might need (ex: gamewises and lgaites). Hence the reason why many different types of character sheets are offered. The Cannonfodder sheet should take up barely a page, while the Adventurer could go on for a number of pages.
Of course, it should be understood that HTML was never designed to be printed. Luckily, if you save a character sheet to your harddrive, you should be able to open it in most word processing programs and use one to make sure it flows evenly from page to page. Otherwise, we do offer printable character sheets which can be filled in by hand.
